Privacy policy

Your family's homeschool records belong to you. We store them so you can plan, track and print them. We don't sell your data, we don't sell your children's data, and we don't show your children's information to other members.

Your account: name, email address and password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider), plus your state and school year if you enter them.

Your homeschool data: your children's first names, ages, grade levels, subjects, schedules, lesson logs, goals, attendance and any notes you write.

Community activity: posts, comments and reactions you choose to publish in The Collective, plus events you host or RSVP to.

Billing: our payment provider processes your payment. We never see or store your card number — only your subscription status and transaction record.

Cool Mom Collective is a tool for parents, not for children. Accounts are for adults 18 and over. Children do not sign in and do not have profiles other members can see.

Only you can read your children's records. Please enter the minimum you need — first name or nickname is plenty. Never post identifying details about your children in The Collective.

Your children, plans, logs, records and analytics are private to your account. Community posts and events are visible to other signed-in members. Your display name appears next to anything you post.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and database-level access rules restrict every row to its owner. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to run the service.

You can edit or delete any record inside the app, export your records as a file at any time, and permanently delete your account and all of its data from The kids & my settings page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
